Personal Data Protection Information Notice (KVKK)

This information notice has been prepared to inform data subjects in accordance with Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law”) regarding the processing of personal data collected by Berk Algedik (“Data Controller”).

The Data Controller shows the utmost care in processing, protecting, and securing personal data and processes your personal data in compliance with the framework set forth by the Law.

2. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data consisting of your name, surname, and email address, obtained through our website, are processed within the scope of the personal data processing conditions specified in Article 5 of the Law for the following purposes:

  • Sending newsletters,

  • Sharing announcements, notifications, and updates,

  • Ensuring communication regarding services related to the website you registered for.

The Data Controller takes the necessary technical and administrative measures to prevent unlawful processing of personal data and unauthorized access.

Your collected personal data are not shared with third parties under any circumstances.
Your personal data are accessed solely by Berk Algedik in the capacity of Data Controller.

Legal basis: Pursuant to Article 5/1 of the Law, your personal data are processed based on your explicit consent, solely for the purposes stated above.

5. RETENTION PERIOD

Your personal data will be retained for the period required by the purposes of processing and for a maximum of 1 year. At the end of this period, your personal data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

6. TRANSFER OF DATA ABROAD

Your personal data are not transferred abroad.

7. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, data subjects have the right to:

  • Learn whether their personal data are processed,

  • Request information if their personal data have been processed,

  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether data are used in accordance with this purpose,

  • Know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,

  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data,

  • Request deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of Article 7 of the Law,

  • Request notification of such operations to third parties to whom personal data have been transferred,

  • Object to the occurrence of a result against them due to analysis exclusively by automated systems,

  • Request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of personal data.
